Interesting discussion with some young people on the supernatural occurrences such as blood flowing from the hands of a statue of Jesus – they blew me away at their simple faith that God can do anything so why not that?

I had to follow with some teaching that we cannot believe every spirit, but should test the spirits to see whether they are of God.

There is the simple test that John gives us – every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit which does not confess Jesus is not of God.

One thing for sure you have nothing to fear of the supernatural –  you are of God, and have overcome; for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

People of the world listen to people of the world.  We are of God. Whoever knows God listens to us, and he who is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

What does that look like again in our walk with Jesus?  Let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God and knows God.
