Be strong in the grace

Strong_In_His_GraceWhy?

At the end of the day, when reflecting on its activities, did we take what the Lord has given to us to do, learn, engage, practice and meditate on and teach others as the day went along?

Maybe its more than that.  Maybe God is calling us to do more – maybe discipling means more about mentoring.  Mentoring meaning that I found another faithful follower of Jesus and spend time with him so that his walk would also come to a place where he can teach others also.

That way I have someone or a few others to share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.  Because no soldier on service gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to satisfy the one who enlisted him.

The same could be said that an athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.

It is the hard-working farmer who ought to have the first share of the crops.

Think this encouragement over, for the Lord will grant you understanding in everything – be strong in grace.

Funny, Jesus taught this, Paul taught this, and people still get entangled with distractions the world offers, and spend more time justifying their choices and behaviour than repenting and getting back on track. Good words, and may these words motivate Jesus’ people to stay focused and faithful. Thanks.
    Peace
