Gentile Gospel

Gentile Gospel

Ever heard of this kind of gospel before?

Can’t say I have and I must say that I have been reading and rereading Paul’s explanation of it and finally feel comfortable sharing with you how precious this gospel is and our call, along with Paul, to be ministers of this gospel.

Paul, an incredible student of the law was given the responsibility of being a steward of God’s grace and giving it away to the Gentile world.

He was given this mystery by revelation while he was spending time with Jesus.

When we read the Pauline letters we can perceive his  insight into the mystery of Christ which did not get understood by those who had studied the law but rather to the apostles and the prophets anointed by the Spirit.

That gospel consists of this –  that Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

Paul was given the awesome responsibility of taking the things given to him in secret in his walk with God and through this grace preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ and to make known to everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things – simply, that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places.

All this according to the eternal purpose which Paul realized in Christ Jesus our Lord.  It is in Christ whom we have boldness and confidence of access through our faith in Him.
