We talk a lot about the impact of negative words as curses and positive words as blessings – all true.
What I am thinking about right now is what comes to our minds when we are talking about our relationship with Jesus and how that makes us feel as expressed by our words.
When I meet someone and tell them that I am called to be missionary, called by the will of God, I feel great.
When I am with the saints of God, those who are faithful in their walk with God, you have to notice that there is a different language that we use. We know our God, we count on Him, when we pray, we are humbled, and on our knees – amazing chemistry the moment we meet.
One thing I look forward to when I meet with these men are the blessings that they give when we meet or when we say good-bye “grace to you, peace from God, our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
To know that we are blessed with every spiritual blessing takes us out of ourselves, it is a mindset that comes only from walking with Jesus and that walk begins to change the way we think and the way we talk.
Life becomes abundant and our words reflect that kind of life.
