Not getting attention?

storm-visceral-pain-e1352060780908Does this not happen more often than not?

I mean what does it take to get some respect and make people see that even though we are not experts on certain matters, God has blessed us with discernment?

Well, get used to it.

Unless of course you are talking into an abyss without hope, love or faith.  Jesus received incredible attention with his authority of God and His Word for it surpassed the intellectual dribble of the current religious leaders for all they had to offer the people were rules and regulations of how to reach God.  They had forgotten that God has always reached down to humankind.

I am still amazed though that some of us seek attention.  When we do not get it, we take steps, maybe I should say leaps and bounds to try to get some of it.  We lie, we stab people in the back, we gossip, we tear down, we step on others all to get the pat on the back from some person.

Best to give. Best not to expect a return.  Best to love.  Best not to expect love in return.  Best to put your trust in another before they have a chance to earn it.  Best to put your faith in God. Best to expect Him to be more faithful than you are.

I have never seen a better description of proactive Christianity to replace reactive religion.
Blessings and I pray thousands (even more) Followers of Jesus might live like this. It might kill us, but what a way to go!!
