The journey is filled with learning opportunities and as we learn and experience who God is and begin to resemble some of His character, we get asked to teach. There are some who are satisfied with just doing that.
However, I think there is more, I think we need to focus on our call and our destiny – our purpose. Each of those milestones that we reach let us in a bit more into that call.
Let take for example the destination of striving to enter by the narrow door.
That is a hard place to be, really creates moments of incredible sacrifice, a call to die to oneself. As you journey, and learning and teaching as you are going, your destination will be to shed those things that hinder you from walking with God in complete obedience. Laying aside everything you want to do and doing everything God wants you to do.
Chosing this particular destination is a very difficult one because you will be surrounded by those who want to but are unable and by being unable to die to themselves will forfeit their position in the kingdom of God.
It is the specific desire that enables your daily walk with God to be filled with what you need to make it through the incredible growing experience of bringing you to not only to the place of seeking but entering through the door of your destination.
