I have a question as to how we determine our time spent walking with Jesus.
There seems to me that we have two tasks in our walk – learning and doing.
Do we calculate a percentage of our walk for both tasks or does our day differ from one moment to the next depending on what needs to take place. So I might spend an entire day learning and three-day doing or have spent one day doing, I take three days to reflect and learn?
It is tempting to put boundaries yet I feel that the other temptation is to always be doing and feeling guilty when learning – probably no different from the Mary and Martha syndrome.
What do you find is the natural way you spend time in your walk with Jesus?
